Professional Photographer and Rope Bondage Artist.

I first picked up a camera when I was around 15 years old, I loved art but I was terrible at everything I tried, until my school art teacher gave me some B&W film, at last I had found something where my talent and ability matched my enthusiasm.

Photography was a hobby for many years, Wildlife & Landscapes mostly, but I had always greatly admired Artstic Nudes. When some friends encouraged me to finally try shooting some myself the results were beautiful, I sold my first artistic nude print just a few days after taking it, I was hooked.

I decided to make photography my job when I was (medically) forced into a career change, I started studying computing but quit for photography instead, following my heart you could say. I now specialise in and exclusively shoot in the genres of Artistic Nude, Fine-Art Nude, Figure Nude, Erotica & Bondage.

Despite loving working in other genres, I am by far more widely known for my bondage work, whihc is a very significant skillset in itself.
I started tying girls up at just 15 years old, but I started taking it seriously after unexpectedly purchasing a Japanese magazine full of rope bondage, I was captivated by the beauty of it. I was just 18 at the time and by the time I was 30 I was very capable with significant talent in that area also, I was regularly teaching others how to tie and I started including bondage in my photography.

I published my first book in 2006 which was a mixture of bondage photography and a how-to guide, followed in 2007 by London Bound, another bondage book. I now work regularly on projects based on a theme or idea and publish them as books, prints are also available, my books on Bondage are usually artistic studies which are both beautiful to look at and an inspirational source of ideas for people who tie themselves, my non-bondage books are similarly presented as beautiful bodies of work, the kind of books you can sit down for a couple of hours and slowly flick though, like walking through a gallery or exhibition, whenever you like.

I'm a professional artist today with my work fairly evenly split between Photography (within the above genres) and Rope Bondage.
My Photography is split between shooting my own projects usually published as books, and shooting commissions, often where the client is also the model, usually someone who wants to capture some beautiful photos of their body before age starts making significant changes.
My Bondage work is split between teaching others (both photographers and individuals and couples for private purposes), rigging rope bondage for other photographers and videographers shoots, and I also retail ropes and associated hardware and I make instrictional videos.

I love both Photography and Rope Bondage for similar reasons, both require both artistic/creative talent and ability combined with a significant of technical knowledge and skills, in both cases it's necessary to completely understand and master the technical aspects to the point that it's no longer necessary to think about them, before the artistic/creative side is able to flow unhindered and freely, only then can the best work be created. I consider myself very fortunate to have reached a sufficient level of technical knowledge and ability in both disciplines while also having significant artistic talent and ability in both also. While it has taken over 25 years of constant development, work, practice, etc. to get to where I am now, I wouldn't be doing this without also being lucky enough to have significant natural talent. Hard work will get you a long way but talent is largely down to luck.
I have at least another 25 years of practice & learing ahead of me, if I'm lucky. Art is not a destination, it's a lifelong journey.

By way of a disclaimer, all of the people depicted in my photography are models, professional or amateur, and photos were taken during shoots, not 'recreational activity', they were all over 18 at the time the photos were taken and had fully consented to being restrained where depicted. Some of my bondage imagery may be risky or dangerous to attempt to recreate, I am an extremely experienced rope bondage professional who is properly able to assess, manage and mitigate risks associated with physical restraint and the application of loads to ties on the body.
