I put a poll up a couple of weeks ago [link] about the genre's of work I do and am thinking about doing against what I've already done alot of.

The results are split evenly at 35% each on Location Art Nudes and Rope Bondage, both things I've done alot of in the past, though less rope bondage in the last few years and more location nudes.
I prefer to think of myself as primarily an art nudes photographer but my involvement in rope bondage is extensive, as well as photographing it for my own work I also teach it and rig bondage commercially for other people.
I've been thinking that I really ought to re-embrace my bondage photography instead of trying to shift what I'm known for to art-nudes, clearly I'm still very well known for my bondage work so the poll agreed with my feelings that those are the areas to continue in fully.

The poll also had 14% each on the genres of Studio Art Nudes and Erotica, aside from the erotic edge to my bondage work I've not really explored erotica yet but it's high on my list of areas to explore, essentially bringing a sexual edge to my art nudes, though to what degree I'm not sure, I'll probably experiment with a variety of levels.
Studio Art Nudes are a great love of mine, quite different from location work with a much purer element where I have full control over every aspect of the image, I'll still be doing these but along with erotica they're joint second on the priorities list.

I also included in the poll General Fetish and Non-Nudes. I've not done a whole lot of general fetish and almost all of it has been for private clients, it's an area I'm very familiar with and although some aspects are very interesting it'll probably mostly remain an aside to my work, with only 2% of the votes in the poll I'm either not known for it or not terribly good at it, which is quite fair enough, I don't specialise in it.
Non-Nudes got zero votes, I don't do alot of non-nudes and when I do it's usually in a figure-style very much in keeping with my nudes work. It's potentially more saleable as more people will put a non-nudes on their wall than a nude so it's going to remain a part of my work despite the zero votes.

It was already fairly set in my mind just what I was going to concentrate on over the next few months and years though I generally review myself, my work and the market every year.
The poll was created to get the 'wisdom of the crowd', albeit within the demographics within dA, and it's good to see that the results largely matched my intentions.
